Emphasizing that 100 years ago, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk opened the National Sample Exhibition after holding the İzmir Economy Congress, Mayor Soyer said, “After that, İzmir started to become a city of Fairs. Our founding leader saw 100 years ago that since İzmir is a port city, it should host fairs. It's our job to raise the bar. We are hosting 34 fairs this year in İzmir, where 10-11 fairs were held annually until 2019. Rest assured, we are ready to achieve extraordinary achievements.
